Range welcomed back former pupil Michael Hoare, a member of the British Men’s Hockey Team at the Rio Olympics to present awards at the school’s Presentation Evening, held last week. Michael presented awards to ex Y11 pupils, and spoke to them about his career in elite sport. Headteacher Mr Aldridge said, “Michael is a fantastic role model. He attended the same Presentation Evening 15 years ago, and through his passion for hockey and despite setbacks he has now represented our country at the highest level. Everyone present can learn from his story, and we hope our pupils are as successful as they move into the next stage of their education.”
