This school bus is provided by Merseytravel for use by Range High students.
The cost of a one way journey is £1.50, however a Merseyside’s MyTicket is available from the driver at a cost of £2.20 per day and is valid all day which will cover both the inward and outward journeys.
The school bus will stop at recognised official bus stops along the routes specified below:
This service starts at 08:05 in Ainsdale at the bus stop in Shore Road (opposite Westminister Drive). It travels to school via Kenilworth Road, Liverpool Road, the Formby By Pass, Southport Road, Deansgate Lane, Watchyard Lane, Kenyons Lane, Church Road, Cross Green and then travels on to Altcar Rd, Alt Rd, Liverpool Road, Raven Meols Road, Queens Road, Jubilee Road and then on to Range High School arriving at 08:38.
This service departs from school at 15:30 (14:30 on a week 2) and travels along Stapleton Road, Cambridge Road, Jubliee Road, Queens Road, Raven Meols Lane, Liverpool Road, Alt Road, Altcar Road, Cross Green Road, Cross Green and then continues on to Church Road, Kenyons Lane, Watchyard Lane, Deansgate Lane, Southport Road, Formby Bypass, Liverpool Road, Kenilworth Road and will terminate on Shore Road.
For those students who live towards the centre of Ainsdale or in Birkdale, Southport or Crossens, Merseytravel operate the 44 bus service. Arriving in Formby on Queens Road at 08:20 and departing in the afternoon at 16:00, this service offers an alternative to those students who are unable to take advantage of either the 759 or 760 services.

Although there is no dedicated school bus from Waterloo or Crosby to Range High School, Merseytravel operate the 47 bus service which travels through Waterloo and Crosby stopping in Formby before heading to its destination. If students disembark at the stop by the Royal Public House on Liverpool Road, Formby, they can then get the school bus service above which arrives at school by 08:38.
On the return leg of the journey, students can again use the school bus above to travel to the Royal Public House on Liverpool Road in order to catch the 47 back home.
