We definitely didn’t have a ‘Silent Night’ here at Range on 14th December. As part of our festivities we put on a festive show, which included many talented pupils from our school, St Jerome’s, St Luke’s and Woodlands. Throughout the evening there was a variety of acts to entertain and fill the audience with Christmas spirit, even if they didn’t have a sherry before the performance.
The show combined performances from vocalists, groups, the school choir, drama pupils and dancers. In the run-up to the event, pupils had attended rehearsals to prepare for their acts in clubs and extra curricular sessions.
Our Creative Council helped behind the scenes. Students were enlisted to do the lighting, work as stagehands, design the PowerPoint backdrop and help welcome the audience, not to mention host the show.
The night was a fantastic success. Thank you to all the wonderful students and staff that put a lot of hard work and effort into putting on this amazing show. It certainly was a Christmas cracker! (see more photos in our Gallery)
