Range High School was named this week as one of four schools in the North West to be awarded Artsmark Gold. The award recognises the breadth and quality of arts experiences and creativity at the school. This co-incides with the development of a Dance Studio at the school and the employment of a specialist teacher Miss L Bassett to add a new GCSE to the school’s curriculum. Head of Expressive Arts at the school, Mrs Fox said: “We are delighted to receive this recognition of the creative work of all the pupils and staff at the school, and particularly of the work we do with our partner primary schools. We are excited about the development of Dance and look forward to integrating it into our creative activities next academic year.
