This year as part of the bi-annual inter-house Arts Star competition here at Range, heats in Woodlands and St Luke’s primary schools were included for Key Stage 2 pupils to participate in. There were a variety of acts for everyone to enjoy as you can imagine, as these were devised entirely by the children themselves!
Back at school, there was artwork on display in the arts theatre, a backdrop to the evening showcase for the final selection chosen by our esteemed judges Kevin Grimes from the Café D’Art, extra curricular dance teacher Anna Rawlinson and ex pupil Charlotte Senior, who stepped in at the last minute. The showcase combined performances from vocalists, groups, dancers, actors and much more. The students who took part were all complemented by the judges on their creativity and commitment and all gained points for their houses. Congratulations to winners Grace Wingate (9ABO) and Amelia Stewart (8EF)
Many thanks to all who took part and supported this fantastic event, we are very proud of you!
