Year 6 Applications and Open Evening 2020

Thank you for your interest in applying for a place at Range High School for the Y7 intake, September 2021. It is normally with great pride that we showcase our school, the achievements of our students and our outstanding extracurricular activities. This year would have been no exception, after another year celebrating some of our best results ever. However, as you will appreciate, due to current guidance related to the Covid pandemic we will be unable to run our normal Open Evening event which was scheduled for the 23rd September. However, we are currently working on a ‘virtual tour’ of the school which should be available here before the end of the month. By that time, our updated e-prospectus will also be available here.  I hope that both of these will give you a flavour of the school and will provide answers to at least some of the questions you may have.

As well as that, we will offer an individual telephone conversation with a key member of staff for anyone who would find that useful, please get in touch using our Applications Enquiry Form and we will arrange this. Finally, unless the local infection rate increases, we will offer a limited number of brief tours to anyone who would feel it necessary or helpful. I will issue further guidance, if we are able to offer these tours, later in the month. You will hopefully understand that our immediate priority is ensuring that the school re-opens to our current students in a safe as way as possible before allowing more people to visit the school site.
